Graduate Spotlight: Paul Judkins
May 9, 2025
Paul Judkins is graduating with an Associate of Science, pre-majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He chose this path for its blend of hands-on mechanics and technical design, including skills like AutoCAD, a popular computer-aided design software, which fueled his passion for innovative problem-solving.
Paul’s academic journey has been supported by SPC’s strong STEM programs and dedicated tutors, who helped him navigate challenging math courses. His motivation is driven by a desire to create meaningful work, inspired by his parents, his SPC mentor Dr. Saint Hubert, and his girlfriend, whose encouragement has been a guiding force.
As a Project SURE Scholar, he gained invaluable experience, including a NASA internship and volunteering at events at the college. Paul aims to build a meaningful engineering career in San Antonio, with plans to continue his education as his career progresses.
Paul will give the introduction for the student commencement speaker at St. Philip’s College’s 52nd Commencement Ceremony. Congratulations Paul!
