The First Year Experience Team understands that a student’s first year of college is a time to build, develop, and discover. We provide resources and programming to guide you on your path to success.
The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have reaffirmed St. Philip's College as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education. This designation covers academic years 2014 through 2020.
The final QEP will include the following components:
An institutional process for identifying key issues emerging from institutional assessment
Identification of a significant issue that focuses on learning outcomes and/or environment supporting student learning and accomplishes the College mission
Evidence of institutional capability for the initiation, implementation, and completion of the Plan
Broad-based involvement of institutional constituencies and
Clearly identified goals and a plan to assess the achievement of those goals.
