2025-26 School Registration Is Open
Area ISD's and schools wishing to schedule a Challenger mission, Micronaut mission, planetarium presentation or combinations of these should reach out to our center scheduler Lynn at sac-ScobeeCtr@alamo.edu to request information on availability, pricing, and to receive the registration materials. Scheduling does not take place over the phone without the completed registration document. Registration forms, crew manifests, and center maps are located under the Scobee web pages for each program; planetarium presentations, Challenger, or Micronaut missions.
Don't delay as the calendar for the entire school year is filling up a little more every day!

40th Anniversary of the Challenger Learning Centers
January 28, 2026, with be the 40th anniversary of the tragic loss of the Challenger STS 51-L mission and her seven crew members.
From this tragedy arose the Challenger Learning Center network and the dedication to carry forward the educational outcomes of the crew’s mission. In remembrance of the Challenger crew and in recognition of 40 years of inspiring students to expand their visions of the future, we will share events and opportunities available locally and virtually for our community.
The first virtual opportunity has been announced by Framingham State University in Massachusetts, where Christa McAuliffe attended school. FSU is calling this the Challenger Series 2025-26 and you may learn more about their virtual programs at this web site: https://cm-center.org/event/challengerseries
