We are thrilled to welcome our guest speaker, Ann Bowe, a distinguished scientist and medical researcher whose impressive 32-year career encompasses both academic and clinical laboratories. With 18 years of experience at Genzyme, a prominent biotech company, Ann brings a wealth of knowledge in cell and molecular genetics as well as mineral metabolism. Her research spans critical areas, including pregnancy-induced hypertension, cancer, polycystic kidney disease (PKD), fetal cell separation, and hypophosphatemia. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from Ann’s remarkable experience and insights as we promote and celebrate women in STEM!

Women's History Month Book Discussion

Join us for Palo Alto College's 2025 Women's History Month book discussion, open to students, employees, and the community. The book discussed is Red Car: Stories by Sallie Bingham. Women's History Month Library Exhibit – Frida Kahlo

Saturday, March 8 – Friday, March 28
Ozuna Library and Learning Center, 2nd floor

Experience the vibrant world of Frida Kahlo through an engaging collection of banners that bring to life the iconic artist and her powerful works. This exhibit features stunning representations of Kahlo's masterpieces, including "Self-Portrait with Loose Hair" and "Self-Portrait with Monkeys," both beautifully set against the backdrop of her cherished Casa Azul. In addition to these highlights, the exhibit showcases other significant pieces such as "The Bus," "Frida and Diego Rivera," "Self-Portrait as Tehuana," and "The Frame." This exhibit is made possible through the generosity of Teacher’s Discovery.
