About Alejandro Renteria

After some time in the fire service, I decided to pursue a teaching career. I earned my BA in History from CSU San Bernardino and an MA in Latin American Studies from San Diego State University. At UC Davis, I earned a second MA in History and my PhD in History with a Designated Emphasis in the Study of Religion. Before pursuing the PhD, I taught US History and Latin American History at Mt. San Jacinto College. I currently teach US History as an adjunct here at NLC.
