Registration Now Open for YMCA Summer Camps at ACD Campuses

The Alamo Colleges District (ACD) is excited to announce that registration is now open for Y Summer Camps hosted at ACD campuses. 

In 2024, ACD and the YMCA of Greater San Antonio launched a strategic partnership to help remove barriers to childcare access faced by parenting students and working families. As part of this initiative, Y Summer Day Camps were offered at Northeast Lakeview College (NLC) and Northwest Vista College (NVC). 

ACD is proud to announce that all five colleges, Northeast Lakeview (NLC), Northwest Vista (NVC), Palo Alto (PAC), St. Philip's (SPC), and San Antonio (SAC) College, will host the Y Summer Day Camps this summer. This expansion creates more opportunities for ACD students, faculty, staff, and community members to access high-quality summer care at an affordable price. 

The Y Summer Day Camp is open to children ages 5–13. Camps run weekly from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting June 2. End dates vary by location. Campers will enjoy a full day of creative play, sports, and field trips. Financial assistance is available for families who need support with camp costs.

NLC, PAC, and SPC also offer their youth summer programs. These programs give kids the chance to have fun, meet new friends, and explore hands-on learning. Dates, themes, and age groups vary by college.
