Transferring to a Four-Year University

 

One benefit of attending the Alamo Colleges is that we offer Transfer Advising Guides. The Alamo Colleges established a transfer compact with six colleges and 21 universities in Texas. The transfer compact allows students to select a plan that fits their major and the university in the transfer compact where they wish to transfer.

 

The Alamo Colleges District has 2,810 transfer pathways to choose from. The transfer guides show courses required for four-year degree plans at the universities in the transfer compact. Certified academic advisors help students select courses offered at Alamo Colleges that can transfer and count toward the university degree plan. Transfer guides provide valuable information about special requirements/considerations, preparing students planning to transfer.

 

The Alamo Colleges District also offers 957 Seamless Transfer Pathways. Students can earn a bachelor's degree by transferring from one of the Alamo Colleges to a transfer compact partner with zero loss of CREDIT HOURS, TIME and MONEY!

 

 

The Summer Momentum Plan is offered to full-time students who attend any of the Alamo Colleges for the fall and spring semesters. Full-time international students will receive nine FREE credit hours to take during the summer semester.
